We are all surely geared up for the upcoming Holy month of Ramazan. This is the time to ponder and to reflect upon the mercies bestowed by The Almighty upon us and how we can better serve Him. This month of gaining ‘Taqwa’, drawing closer to Allah, striving for ‘Ihsan’, acquiring patience, refining manners, learning one can change, learning discipline, sensing unity among Muslims, and being more charitable through Sadqa, Hadiya, Zakat & Fitra.

Zakat is one duty that is religiously observed by devout Muslims throughout the year and more so during the month of Ramazan as this is the month of Blessings wherein the Good Deeds are multiplied. The word Zakat means both ‘purification and ‘growth’. Our possessions are purified by setting aside a proportion for those in need, and, like the pruning of plants, this cutting back, balances and encourages new growth.

The Qur’an always emphasizes the issue of feeding the hungry and helping those who are in need, and the more you help, the more God helps you. And the more you give, the more God gives you.

And establish prayer and give zakat and obey the Messenger – that you may receive mercy.

AMP Zakat Fund – Plan for 2025

We have been working relentlessly towards supporting Higher Education and Self Employment for the past 12 years. We have helped 9,881+ lives with a fund of Rs. 9.80+ Crores till day. AMP Zakat Fund now aims to undergo transformation to the next level for a pan-India appeal and reaching out to more needy Muslims. This will ensure that the Fund will spread its reach to every city, town, and village in India and will touch more lives in the years to come to inshaAllah!

In Sha Allah the Zakat Fund collected this year will be used for the following campaigns.

1. Support A Higher Education – Empower Lives

Wherein yearly support of Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 50,000 is given to students pursuing Higher Education in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, etc. By this endeavor, AMP hopes that the worries of the students getting assistance would be reduced to some extent and they can focus better on their education and try to build a good base for themselves.

2. Support A Small Business – Make A Happy Family

Wherein support of Rs. 25,000 - Rs. 50,000 is given to any needy Muslim person/ family to start a source of income. Through this endeavor AMP firmly hopes that the Zakat Taker of today becomes the Zakat Giver of tomorrow.

3. Support an Orphan and Poor - Shape A Life

AMP has decided to support the educational expenses of a needy orphan child from Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 15,000 so that the child is not deprived of even the basic education for want of a guardian. Through this endeavor, AMP intends that the orphans in the community should not feel left behind or isolated and the community is right behind them to support them.
